Job Title:
Bottling Line Worker Job Description The Bottling Line Worker operates and supports a production bottling line by packaging products, maintaining cleanliness, labeling, and monitoring the line during production. This role works in a food manufacturing environment and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality, safety, and consistency. The position involves working with automated equipment, handling production paperwork, and accurately tracking output. Responsibilities Operate and monitor the bottling line during production to ensure smooth and efficient performance. Package products accurately and consistently, including filling, capping, and sealing bottles as required. Apply labels to bottles and packaging according to production specifications and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing regular cleaning and sanitation tasks in line with GMP food manufacturing requirements. Read, interpret, and record basic production data from the line, including counts, output, and performance indicators. Complete production paperwork accurately, including recording case counts and other required documentation. Inspect products and packaging for quality, identifying and removing any defective items from the line. Assist with general production tasks such as loading materials, stacking finished cases, and preparing products for shipment. Support machine operation by starting, stopping, and adjusting equipment within defined parameters. Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent workflow, communicate issues, and support overall production goals. Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment, to maintain a safe working environment. Essential Skills Experience in general production or manufacturing, preferably in a food production environment. Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in food manufacturing. Ability to operate or support machine operation in a production or bottling environment. Capability to read and understand basic production data from automated lines. Ability to complete production paperwork accurately, including counting and recording cases. Strong attention to detail for packaging, labeling, and quality checks. Willingness and ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting, packing, and standing for extended periods. Reliability and consistency in following procedures, safety rules, and production schedules. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in food production or food manufacturing is a strong advantage. Experience in automation or working with automated production facilities is a plus. Experience with general production, packaging, or packing roles. Familiarity with machine operation in a manufacturing setting. Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with established quality and safety standards. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a food manufacturing facility with an active production floor and bottling line. You will work around automated and mechanical equipment, perform repetitive tasks, and spend most of the shift standing and moving along the line. To maintain food safety and product quality, you will wear a smock, hair net, mask, and safety shoes at all times in designated areas. The environment follows strict cleanliness and GMP standards, with regular sanitation and adherence to safety procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
