Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in cable and wire harness assembly
- Experience crimping small terminals and contacts
- Proficiency with manual and/or pneumatic crimping tools
- Hands-on soldering experience
- Experience working in an ESD-controlled environment
- Knowledge of ESD handling procedures and use of ESD protective equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Experience using precision measurement tools such as rulers, calipers, and wire measuring devices
- Ability to measure and cut wires to exact specified lengths
- Experience performing continuity checks and basic electrical testing
- Good hand-to-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with
IPC/WHMA-A-620
workmanship standards- Aerospace manufacturing experience
- Experience working under
ISO 9001
quality management systems- Experience using microscopes for small-component assembly
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Cable Harness Assembler with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in cable and wire harness assembly
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with small terminals and contacts, crimping tools, soldering, precision measurement, and interpreting technical drawings
- The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, precision, and workmanship while performing repetitive production tasks
- The role requires maintaining high-quality standards, following ESD and safety procedures, and working efficiently in a manufacturing environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble cable and wire harnesses according to engineering drawings and work instructions
- Crimp small terminals and contacts using manual and automated crimping tools
- Perform soldering operations in accordance with applicable industry standards
- Measure and cut wires to exact specified lengths using precision measuring tools
- Work under a microscope when required for fine-detail assembly
- Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing
- Assemble small motors, connectors, and related components
- Follow ESD control procedures when handling sensitive components
- Work in ESD-controlled environments while using appropriate protective equipment
- Inspect finished assemblies for quality, workmanship, and compliance
