Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and sewing heavy-duty synthetic materials, operating industrial sewing and cutting equipment, reading work orders and specifications, and performing quality and safety checks. The role supports field operations with accurate, timely production while maintaining a clean, safe shop and following all company safety and inspection procedures. Responsibilities Fabricate and repair synthetic slings, lifting straps, and rigging products per specifications Measure, cut, and sew heavy-duty synthetic materials using industrial sewing and cutting equipment Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and load rating requirements Perform quality checks, labeling, and tagging to meet safety and regulatory standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following company safety procedures Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to meet production schedules and project needs Inspect materials and finished products for defects and ensure accurate documentation Follow all PPE, handling, and equipment operation guidelines Required Skills Industrial sewing of heavy materials Fabrication of synthetic slings/rigging Measurement and cutting of webbing/rope Reading work orders and specifications Use of industrial sewing and cutting machines Quality control and inspection Basic math and tape measure use Understanding load ratings and tagging Shop safety and PPE compliance Material handling and organization
