Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in a busy plastics manufacturing environment . This role plays a key part in ensuring that all incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products are handled efficiently, accurately, and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials such as resins, pellets, and packaging supplies. Accurately document all materials received and update inventory systems. Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to customer and company specifications. Create and manage shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation. Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials. Ensure that all materials are properly labeled, stored, and tracked. Communicate with production and purchasing departments regarding material deliveries or shortages. Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area. Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing or plastics environment . Ability to lift up to [50 lbs] and stand for extended periods. Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software. Forklift certification or experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
