A Production Fabricator or Assembler constructs and assembles a wide range of products, such as engines, computers, aircraft, ships, boats, toys, electronic devices, and control panels, as well as the individual parts that make up these products.
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Get a feel for our shop and culture: Watch our video About the Job We're looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll assemble parts and components for precision aerospace products while following quality standards and customer requirements. What You'll Do Assemble complex parts and components according to work instructions Use precision measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, indicators, etc. Install hardware like Heli-Coils, rivets, bushings, pins, and Lee plugs Apply sealants and potting materials as required Perform laser engraving, ink stamping, or part marking per specs Install and test magnets for functionality and quality Check parts visually for defects, FOD, and finish quality Verify expiration dates for tools, sealants, and materials What You Need 1-3 years of assembly or related experience preferred Technical training is a plus Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail Ability to read and follow written work instructions and procedures Physical Requirements Able to sit, stand, walk, and use hands frequently Lift up to 10 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 25 lbs Visual ability for close-up work and inspections
