No previous manufacturing experience required Job Description This role focuses on electro-mechanical assembly, rework, and reassembly of products according to work orders, along with testing, inspection, and accurate data entry. You will use both electrical and mechanical skills to build and verify products that meet quality and production standards. Responsibilities Perform electro-mechanical assembly of products in accordance with detailed work orders and established procedures. Rework and reassemble products as needed to meet quality and functional requirements. Conduct testing and inspection of assembled products to verify performance and compliance with specifications. Accurately enter test results and inspection data into the appropriate systems or forms. Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, assembly aids, and related documentation to complete assigned tasks. Use production tools and equipment safely and correctly during assembly and testing activities. Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines to maintain consistent product standards. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding product issues, defects, or process improvements. Maintain a clean and organized work area and support general production activities as required. Essential Skills Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in assembly, production, or a closely related manufacturing role. Ability to perform moderately complex electro-mechanical assembly operations. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and assembly aides. Basic electrical and mechanical skills relevant to assembly and testing work. Experience working with production tools and equipment in a manufacturing environment. Strong verbal communication skills to work effectively with team members. Good reading, writing, and comprehension skills to follow instructions and document work accurately. Attention to detail and accuracy in testing, inspection, and data entry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with electronics assembly or testing in a production environment. Familiarity with standard manufacturing and quality control practices. Ability to follow standardized work instructions and adapt to process changes. Comfort working on a fixed second shift schedule. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing facility operating on a Monday through Friday second-shift schedule, with core hours in the afternoon and evening starting at approximately 2:30 PM. You will work around production tools, equipment, and electronics in a structured, process-driven environment. The dress code is manufacturing casual, and you will be provided with a coat and safety glasses to wear on the production floor. The work involves standing, moving between stations, and handling components and tools in a typical light industrial setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.80 - $19.80/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
