All parts required for the computer are collected and provided. The core duties consist of - assembly on a test bench for diagnostics, full PC assembly, cable management, and recording each step into our internal system. Experience We are ideally looking for someone who has a lot of experience assembling custom gaming computers, understanding of parts and compatibility, as well as interest/enthusiasm for the PC gaming industry - but, these are not specific requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Assembling custom gaming computers with supplied parts. Confirming parts provided match the specifications of the computer. Initial installation of components on a breadbox for a bench test to confirm parts are functional. Following the steps and procedures in our software system that logs and records each step of the build process. Communicating issues to management if there are problems with computers or parts. Parting-out and/or inspections of pre-built computers from projects that come up on occasion. Maintaining a clean work area and desk organization. Moving/Shelving computer PCs that on average weigh 25lbs. Breaking down the empty boxes of computer parts for recycling and end of week cleaning. We pride ourselves on our culture. The majority of our employees are gamers and we encourage having fun at work while getting work done. During breaks and after work employees like to use our in-house private PC LAN center and breakrooms with gaming consoles. The games that are current employees play range from MMORPGs to Racing Sims and everything in between.
