SHOP FOREMAN / CUSTOM CABINET FABRICATOR IMPORTANT THIS IS A SHOP CABINET POSITION . NO CONSTRUCTION WORKERSNO DRYWALL WORKERSNO WINDOW INSTALLERSNO GENERAL LABORERS WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED SHOP FOREMAN / CUSTOM CABINET FABRICATOR WHO SPECIALIZES IN CUSTOM CABINETRY AND WOODWORKING. POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Shop Foreman / Custom Cabinet Fabricator to join our growing company. This position is for someone with strong experience in custom cabinet fabrication, woodworking, shop production, reading plans, and leading a cabinet shop team. The right person should be able to take a project from shop drawings and plans through fabrication and quality control , while helping organize the shop and keep production moving.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESCUSTOM CABINET FABRICATION
Build high-quality
CUSTOM CABINETRY
from shop drawings, blueprints, and production plans. Read and understand
CABINET PLANS, SHOP DRAWINGS, AND BLUEPRINTS
. Accurately measure, cut, assemble, and fabricate custom cabinets. Operate woodworking machinery and power tools safely and efficiently. Work with different types of wood, plywood, MDF, laminates, hardware, and other cabinet materials. Ensure cabinets are built accurately according to project specifications. Check dimensions and details throughout the fabrication process. Inspect completed work to make sure it meets company quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cabinet shop.
SHOP FOREMAN RESPONSIBILITIES
The Shop Foreman will help
LEAD AND ORGANIZE THE CABINET
SHOP and make sure projects are being completed correctly and on schedule.
Responsibilities may include:
Organizing daily shop production. Reviewing plans before fabrication begins. Assigning tasks to shop employees. Checking measurements and cabinet dimensions. Inspecting work for quality and accuracy. Helping solve fabrication problems. Making sure materials are available for production. Communicating with management regarding project progress. Keeping the shop organized and productive. Helping train and guide less-experienced employees. Making sure employees follow proper safety procedures. Helping keep projects on schedule. Taking ownership of the quality of the finished product.
FIELD MEASUREMENTS & INSTALLATION SUPPORT
When needed, the Shop Foreman / Fabricator may: Visit job sites to take accurate field measurements. Verify site conditions before fabrication. Assist with cabinet installation. Help resolve field measurement or installation issues. Communicate important field information back to the shop.
THIS IS A CABINET SHOP POSITION. FIELD WORK IS RELATED TO OUR CUSTOM CABINET PROJECTS. TEAMWORK

This may include:
Assisting with cabinet installations. Helping with sanding and preparation. Helping prepare cabinets for finishing and painting. Assisting coworkers during busy production periods. Helping keep projects moving forward. Sharing ideas to improve production and quality. Maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
QUALIFICATIONSREQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in
CUSTOM CABINET FABRICATION
. Strong woodworking experience. Ability to read and understand
SHOP DRAWINGS AND BLUEPRINTS
. Experience with custom cabinetry. Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery and power tools. Ability to take accurate measurements. Strong understanding of cabinet construction and fabrication. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to identify and correct fabrication problems. Ability to work independently. Ability to lead and work with a team. Ability to meet production deadlines. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
