Job Description

The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of manufacturing of space flight sub-systems and support equipment. Wire harness routing experience Building electrical parts from start to finish, soldering PCB circuit boards, etc. J-Standard training/knowledge Understanding/working from wiring diagrams. Electro-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis Assemble Electro-Mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, and standard operating procedures Use precision calibrated tools - torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers Perform visually inspect of Electro-Mechanical assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration and test procedures Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair Soldering and reworking of through-hole and SMT components Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating

•Ability to fabricate wire bundles and then route - NO harnesses to follow!! Minimum of High School Diploma or GED More than 3 years of experience reading blueprints, working with manufacturing plans, and reviewing instructions for aerospace manufacturing processes 3 years of experience in electronics, electro-mechanical and printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies Capable of lifting 20lbs or more on a frequent basis Ability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaks Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): More than 3 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical assembly on high reliability products More than 3 years of experience working with

ESD, IPC

J-STD-001 and

IPC-A-610

standards More than 3 years of experience with soldering More than 5 years of experience building a variety of component-level space products (e.g. avionics boxes, batteries, mechanisms, optics, printed circuit board assemblies, solar arrays, etc.) More than 3 years of experience using structures hand tools, test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers More than 3 years of experience working in a Clean Room environment More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment Currently hold a IPC J-STD-001 and/or

IPC-A-610

certification More than 3 years of experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems

Pay:

$34.00 - $37.00 per hour
