Our facility is environmentally controlled, engineered for manufacturing flexibility, includes dedicated assembly labs for isolated program management, and a cleanroom facility. With dedicated professionals and assemblers regularly operating two full shifts, ISC operates with the most current high-speed tooling, material handling, and test equipment. Job Overview The Assembly Technician II role is a full-time, on-site position based in Fountain Valley, CA. This role is responsible for assembling cable assemblies, harnesses, and related interconnect products according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include using hand and power tools to perform mechanical assembly, soldering and terminating components, and inspecting parts for defects or deviations from specifications. The Assembly Technician will follow established production processes, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules. This position adherence to safety procedures, and participation in continuous improvement activities. Must-Have Qualifications Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks. Hands-on experience with soldering and basic electrical connections for cable and harness assembly. Skills in mechanical assembly, including reading and following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints. Knowledge of quality control practices, including visual inspection and basic measurement techniques. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electronics or manufacturing is a plus. Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain attention to detail, and meet production deadlines. Willingness to work on-site in Fountain Valley, CA and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Comfort with repetitive tasks and handling small components throughout the shift. Bonus Points If You Have Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Experience with cable assemblies, wire harnesses, connectors, overmolding, or electromechanical assemblies. Experience leading or supporting prototype builds, pilot runs, FAI, and production launches. Compensation Range $44,720
