JOB SUMMARY
We are currently seeking an experienced Assembler to join our production team. The Assembler I performs manual labor along a production line, assembles parts and subassemblies, performs quality inspections, and assists with daily production orders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Production Lead with daily production duties. Operate a forklift within the warehouse as needed. Pull products from designated racking locations. Follow assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. Review work orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure products are assembled correctly. Perform inspections throughout the assembly process. Identify and reject products that do not meet specifications. Maintain quality control standards. Report quality, process, equipment, or material issues to the Production Manager. Provide hands-on training to coworkers as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work quickly and efficiently in a production environment. Complete daily production logs. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior assembly experience required. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs). Basic computer skills. Ability to follow written instructions and work independently. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and manipulate materials. Frequently sit, stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and remain productive throughout the workday.
