- Job Title: Assembler
- Job Description
- This assembler role focuses on cleanroom assembly of delicate medical components used in catheter devices designed to help prevent aneurysms in the brain.
You will work primarily under a microscope, using small hand tools to assemble very small parts with precision and consistency. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent attendance, and the ability to work long shifts in a controlled cleanroom environment.
- Responsibilities
- + Perform cleanroom assembly of catheter components that are used in medical procedures to help prevent aneurysms in the brain.
+ Work under a microscope for extended periods to assemble very small parts with accuracy and consistency.
+ Use small hand tools to coil wire, handle small tubing, and assemble intricate components according to detailed instructions.
+ Follow all cleanroom procedures, including gowning requirements and cleanliness standards, to maintain a controlled environment.
+ Meet quality expectations by carefully inspecting work, maintaining high standards of precision, and following established processes.
+ Maintain strong attendance and punctuality, adhering to the policy that allows only one absence and one late occurrence within the first 90 days.
+ Participate in and successfully complete a hands-on assessment test to demonstrate basic assembly and hand tool skills.
+ Work long hours as needed, including extended shifts and additional days, while maintaining focus and productivity.
+ Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative cleanroom environment.
+ Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
- Essential Skills
- + Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time while maintaining concentration and visual accuracy.
+ Ability to use small hand tools for precision assembly work.
+ Capability to work long hours, including extended shifts and multiple days per week.
+ Strong attendance and reliability, with the ability to meet strict attendance requirements within the first 90 days.
+ Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and follow all gowning and cleanliness procedures.
+ Openness to entry-level candidates who can successfully pass a hand assessment test.
+ Understanding that pay rate is based on experience, assessment performance, and interview performance.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Highly desired: prior cleanroom experience or experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ At least 2 or more years of relevant experience to qualify for higher pay within the range, if applicable.
+ Comfort working with very small components such as coiled wire and small tubing.
+ Ability to learn quickly, follow detailed instructions, and improve performance over time.
+ Dependable work habits, including consistency, quality focus, and willingness to be coached.

- Work Environment
- This role is based in a cleanroom environment where you will be required to wear a full gown and follow strict cleanliness and procedural standards.
The atmosphere encourages communication and positive relationships among team members, as long as quality remains high and work is completed on time. The schedule currently involves working most days, with many employees working approximately 10 hours a day and 6 days a week, leading to an average of about 40 to 45 hours per week. - This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $19.
00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
