Assembler Rework II Pay:
$22.00/hour on W2
Location:
Irvine, CA 92618

5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (OT as needed)
Duration:
12-month contract with a high possibility of extension. Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They're expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing & Assembly Perform manufacturing operations per documentation and time standards. Execute complex work and rework at unit and component levels. Select and implement suitable methods, tools, and procedures. Support operators within the production area. Maintain required build standards and documentation. Perform final inspections when required (per drawings, EOs, and regulatory requirements). Inspect components, assemblies, and test setups based on provided drawings and procedures. Quality & Compliance Perform delegated control operations post-manufacturing. Review root cause analysis and propose Quality Notification (QN) actions. Confirm all QN transactions, tasks, and documentation are completed and signed. Raise Non-Conformances (NCs) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs) as required. Conduct process and/or quality system audits. Review manufacturing documentation discrepancies and report to Production Team Leaders. Ensure compliance with manufacturing process instructions. Reporting & Coordination Liaise with internal and external customers for product release. Coordinate with RMA Team Leaders and operators on quality issue resolution. Update reports, whiteboards, escalations, tracking charts, and quality documentation. Prepare and distribute quality reports as required. Alert management to issues with methods, tools, and techniques Essential Functions Perform complex technical work requiring high domain knowledge. Take initiative in selecting appropriate resources and procedures. Deliver results with mid- and long-term impact on production outcomes. Communicate policies, practices, and technical information within production teams.
Qualifications Education High School Diploma or Technical School Graduate Experience:
4+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment Minimum 3 years in Quality Assurance or Quality Control Experience performing process and/or quality system audits Prior experience with electronic sub-assemblies and system integration (1+ year) 3+ years using mechanical inspection tools (calipers, rulers, scales, etc.) Experience reading 2D drawings and creating article inspection reports Experience performing process audits and assessments
Skills & Requirements:
Electronic and/or mechanical assembly experience (required) Experience working with manufacturing assembly instructions and drawings Manual dexterity skills Ability to lift 15-30 lbs Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions in English Strong attention to documentation and quality processes Stable work history with demonstrated longevity  Looking for meaningful work?
