Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Milpitas, CA. This role is ideal for a skilled builder with a strong background in advanced cable assembly, wire harness assembly, mechanical assembly, or electromechanical assembly. This is not a repetitive assembly-line position. The successful candidate will be trusted to take a complete kit of materials, review drawings and work instructions, and build a finished assembly from start to finish with accuracy, quality, and consistency. This opportunity offers a strong environment for technicians who take pride in craftsmanship and enjoy working on varied, high-mix, low-volume assemblies. Candidates can expect a collaborative manufacturing setting where quality, communication, dependability, and attention to detail are valued. The role is well suited for someone who enjoys ownership of their work, problem solving, and contributing to complex manufacturing builds. Key Responsibilities
  • Build complete cable, wire harness, mechanical, or electromechanical assemblies from engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and kitted materials.
  • Perform hands-on assembly work involving components, hardware, connectors, wiring, routing, labeling, and subassemblies.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, assembly procedures, and documentation to ensure finished assemblies meet requirements.
  • Identify drawing discrepancies, material issues, fit problems, or assembly concerns and communicate them before proceeding.
  • Maintain consistent quality, workmanship, and documentation practices in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Work independently while following established production, safety, and quality standards. Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation:
    $27.00 to $28.00 per hour.
