Job Description

$30-$34 per hour Milpitas, CA Contract

  • Duration: 12 months contract
  • + The position is highly hands-on, with approximately 90-99% of the work performed in the cleanroom.

Technicians may work on different systems and assignments each day, requiring flexibility, practical problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. + Hands-on role supporting the build, assembly, alignment, integration, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical, electrical, and optical equipment in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.

  • Responsibilities:
  • + Build and assemble complex mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.

+ Install, integrate, align, and verify components, assemblies, and subsystems.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and optical equipment issues.

+ Diagnose problems and identify root causes using logical troubleshooting techniques.

+ Use hand tools and mechanical tooling to assemble, adjust, and repair equipment.

+ Interpret technical information, drawings, and work instructions.

+ Progress assigned systems through production/engineering queues and complete work according to priorities.

+ Adapt to changing systems, assignments, and technical challenges.

+ Collaborate with technicians, leads, engineers, and other team members.

+ Follow cleanroom, safety, quality, and established manufacturing procedures.

+ Support overtime, weekend, and holiday work as required by workload.

  • Experience:
  • + Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude.

+ Comfortable using hand tools and mechanical tooling

+ Ability to follow technical instructions, drawings, and established procedures

+ Practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

+ Comfortable working in a cleanroom/manufacturing environment

+ Ability to work the selected shift and support required overtime

+ Semiconductor, capital equipment, biotech, or similar complex equipment experience

  • Skillsets:
  • + Mechanical or electromechanical assembly + Alignment, testing, or equipment troubleshooting + Robotics, motion systems, stages, or automated equipment
  • Education:
  • + Technical degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
