Job Description
CellarPro, a US leader in cooling systems for wine cellars located in Petaluma, is looking to hire an assembler for its manufacturing line. This position is focused on assembling of units and troubleshooting of returned units. It will be a middle to senior level position on our 20 person team. We expect a high degree of capability in working with your hands and understanding cooling systems. Preference will be given to those with 3-5 years experience in manufacturing. Additionally a focused work history with longer tenure with established companies will be viewed favorably. An upbeat attitude, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency and purpose in your efforts will go a long way. Please do not apply if your commute is more than 30 minutes to North Petaluma. We make systems for wine storage, cooling and dispensing used commercially and in residences. We employ Lean Manufacturing approach which relies heavily on employees to be self-empowered to remove waste in their day to day work. Being open to Lean way of thought is a must. There is room for growth and increased salary with additional responsibility. This is a full-time position - start time is 6:30 am. Passing a drug test and solid references are necessary. Wage will vary widely with experience but minimum starting wage for this role is $26/hr and increases from there depending on your experience and capability. Strong preference will be given for relevant experience. More skills brought to the table will increase the hourly rate. Ability to lift 60 lbs. is required.
