Shift:
6:00 AM-4:30 PM if working OT-if not 2:30pm end; Sat as needed Pay rate: $20.00/hr
Duration:
6+ Months Contract
This is an onsite position. Daytime hours, must be open to working OT as needed . No phone or in person interview will be conducted- Selected Candidates need to start as soon as screenings clear This role will be responsible for a variety of assembly and non-assembly functions in support of manufacturing goals. Job Duties-
Operates equipment used to manufacture products. Assembles, checks, and inspects products against departmental procedures. Responsible for recognizing product or equipment problems that arise during the mfg. process and escalating to
Line Lead or Supervisor Physical Requirements:
Must be physically able to stand for prolonged periods, as this position is not done sitting down. Candidate may conduct repetitive movements including push/pull moving of product as needed from assembly area. No heavy lifting is required. Area does require occasional bending, stooping, and movement of completed product from one area to another, and ability to clean up the mfg equipment used for the area. Will be standing on feet for entire shift so comfortable closed toe shoes are required.
The candidate will work as part of a 5-6 person production team assembling and packaging oral fluid collection products.
The main product is an oral fluid extraction tube.
Employees will:
Assemble the product components.
Place the product through machines for processing and packaging.
Perform buffer filling using 3 different filling methods.
Operate and monitor labeling equipment.
Verify labels and ensure products are correctly labeled.
Package finished products into kits.
Handle kit quantities of 25, 100, or 500 kits.
Manually count products according to the required pack size.
Assist with palletizing completed products.
