•12:30 AM | $22.64/hr Job Overview One of the leading Aerospace & Defence industry client is hiring a Composite Technician

•Level I to support the fabrication, assembly, curing, and finishing of composite materials and aircraft components. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with composite manufacturing, mechanical assembly, production, fabrication, or hands-on manufacturing experience who are mechanically inclined and detail-oriented. Key Responsibilities Assist with composite material lay-up, molds, forms, and vacuum bagging. Cut and prepare tape, woven materials, honeycomb, adhesives, and other composite materials. Drill, route, trim, sand, and finish components to required dimensions. Assist with curing and assembly of composite and aircraft components. Assemble components using structural adhesives, rivets, and threaded fasteners . Perform surface preparation, bodywork, contour shaping, sanding, and painting. Mix resins and catalysts according to established procedures. Check material expiration dates before use. Maintain accurate records and a clean, organized work area. Follow established manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures. Requirements 2+ years of relevant manufacturing, composite, mechanical assembly, fabrication, or production experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments . Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Blueprint or technical drawing experience is preferred, but not required . Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment. Ability to lift and handle components weighing up to 50 lbs. Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and detail-oriented. Willingness to work overtime or extended hours as needed.
