The position requires a hands-on approach to production processes, including machine setup and quality inspection, while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence. Essential Functions Include, but are not limited to the following: Responsible for overall preparation, set-up, starting, and running of filling machine equipment. Ability to perform adjustments and changeovers to production equipment as directed. Responsible for accurately completing and updating information forms and logs such as daily production logs, waste logs and quality forms. Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and actions and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operations. Personal protective equipment is to be used where required. Performs visual and mechanical quality checks to ensure production meets quality standards. Monitor machine during every production run to ensure optimum running Ensure that machine is producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output Maintain activity logs/downtime sheets Verify that the product in process is within product specifications for color, appearance, diameter, and weight. Start up machinery as well as shutting it down. Clean the machinery on a daily basis Job Experience / Requirements High School Diploma or GED 2-3 years in production line experience in related industry. Knowledge of product specification and production standards. Superb leadership skills. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills. Excellent problem-solving skills. Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
