A FOUR-DAY WORK WEEK
? This may be what the job. An established medical device manufacturer in San Clemente is seeking an Assembly Technician. The hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 to 5:30. This is a temp-to-hire position, with the pay starting at $21.00 - $22.00 an hour.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations using components and sub-assemblies in the company's product line in accordance with the strict guidelines for quality and consistency. Inspect and test precision parts and assemblies using precision measuring and testing equipment. Visually examine parts of completeness, work quality, and obvious defects. Assembly requires the utilization of small parts and tools and may also require the use of optical equipment and/or magnifiers. Hand winding very fine or small gauge wire. Solder PC boards. Utilize PC software, when required to perform the assembly.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Able to read a bill of material. Very good manual dexterity skills must be able to proficiently handle very small parts. Able to communicate effectively in English; able to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions. Excellent eye sight and able to use optical equipment. Able to operate standard test equipment. Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production deadlines. Able to understand and maintain strict and consistent standards of quality. Must be organized, detailed oriented, reliable and able to work well as part of a team. Available for overtime, when needed. Attendance and punctuality are of the upmost importance.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
