We envision a world where after a major storm, an operator of critical infrastructure can simply sign into our platform and dispatch a drone. Within minutes, we will identify high risk hazards and stream issues directly to crews on the ground. With our ground stations and long range drones, we can cover the continental U.S. with only ~5000 stations. We operate as a full stack service, meaning we build drones, deploy them, capture data, analyze it, and deliver the results on our software platform. Our first market is power utilities. We've serviced multiple utilities already, and are preparing for our biggest deployment with a large multinational utility later this year. The Role We're looking for a hands-on Assembly Technician to build our drone airframes: wiring harnesses, PCB integration, motor/ESC mounting, and mechanical assembly. These are flight-critical systems going out to customers, not hobby builds, so we need someone who already knows what a professional build looks like, ideally because they've built drones at another startup or manufacturer before. Responsibilities
- Build and assemble drone airframes end to end: wiring harnesses, PCB integration, motor/ESC mounting, mechanical assembly
- Solder and terminate connectors to a standard tight enough for flight-critical hardware
- Work directly with our engineering team to catch design-for-manufacturing issues before they become field failures Qualifications & Experience Required
- Experience with soldering wiring harnesses and assembling complex electronics/robots Nice to Have
- Has built drones before, ideally professionally at another startup or manufacturer
- Experience with small-batch/low-volume hardware manufacturing, not just mass production
