Job Description

Overview Micro X-ray is a leader in advanced X-ray technology, specializing in the design and manufacture of high-performance X-ray tubes for medical, industrial, and scientific applications. We are committed to precision engineering and innovation. Key Responsibilities Assemble cathode subcomponents according to engineering specifications and work instructions. Handle delicate materials such as tungsten filaments, molybdenum, and copper parts. Perform alignment and bonding processes under cleanroom conditions. Inspect assemblies for dimensional accuracy and surface integrity using microscopes and gauges. Maintain accurate documentation of assembly steps and quality checks. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in precision assembly or electronics manufacturing (vacuum tube experience a plus). Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and ESD handling. Preferred Skills Experience with welding, precision assembly, or other vacuum tube assembly processes. Physical Requirements Ability to work with small components under magnification.
