PM Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Assembler I to perform routine mechanical and electromechanical assembly tasks. This role involves working with small components using precision tools and following detailed instructions to ensure high-quality output in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts and components according to work instructions Read and follow shop travelers, route cards, and basic schematic drawings Assemble and position very small components using microscopes, tweezers, and fixtures Adjust, align, and solder fine wires and components as required Apply bonding materials such as epoxy using heating elements or ovens Conduct basic in-process inspections and testing Maintain compliance with all safety policies and procedures Support team objectives and complete additional tasks as assigned Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to work overtime or weekends if needed
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 6 months to 2 years of assembly or related manufacturing experience Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with assembly processes Ability to use hand tools and light machinery Good manual dexterity and ability to work with very small parts Basic math skills Ability to read and interpret instructions, drawings, and procedures
Must-Have Skills:
Strong communication skills Ability to identify issues and take corrective action Willingness and ability to learn new tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with microscopes or precision assembly Soldering experience Adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
