As an Assembler, you will handle diverse manufacturing duties, such as mechanical assembly, material picking, and system testing, all while utilizing Bills of Materials. By following precise technical drawings and Quality Operating Instructions (QOIs), you will ensure the completion of all necessary production documentation. Primary Duties Execute mechanical assembly tasks of a straightforward nature while maintaining productivity in a high-speed setting. Manage the final assembly process, determining the best methods to integrate parts into sub-assemblies and complete units. Verify that all documentation, including QOIs, pick lists, and quality logs, is accurate to help maintain high production standards. Gather necessary materials from stock to keep the production floor supplied and alert the Production Supervisor regarding any inventory gaps. Conduct safe power-up procedures and testing on completed units, utilizing your technical knowledge to troubleshoot and rework items as needed. Operate standard hand tools, calibrated equipment, and analytical instruments, while safely handling chemical fluids and working around high-voltage components, requiring strong manual dexterity and a focus on safety.
