Cleanroom Assembler
  • Innovations Department (Prototype Assembly
  • $26•30/hour (DOE) Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented Cleanroom Assembler to join an Innovations Department focused on prototype development and advanced technologies.
This role supports the assembly of small, delicate prototype components in a regulated cleanroom environment. It is ideal for someone who enjoys precision work, thrives on learning new processes, and wants hands‑on exposure to early‑stage products and emerging manufacturing technologies. Position Summary As a Cleanroom Assembler in the Innovations Department, you will perform precise sub‑assemblies and final assemblies of prototype and pre‑production components while working extensively under a microscope. You will follow documented procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), inspect both your own work and the work of others, and support packaging and handling of finished prototype goods. Over time, you will gain experience working with advanced and specialized equipment, including robots and laser welding systems, through structured training. Key Responsibilities Assemble prototype components and final assemblies in a cleanroom environment Perform detailed work under a microscope or magnification for precision assembly and inspection Inspect personal work and peer work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met Follow established procedures and GMP processes with consistency and accuracy Complete documentation in support of quality systems and regulatory requirements Assist with packaging and handling of finished prototype and innovation-stage products Maintain compliance with the Quality Management System, including required training and certifications Rotate between different innovation cells and prototype projects as business needs evolve Collaborate with a small, cross‑functional team to support development timelines and production goals Support work involving robots, specialized equipment, and laser welding tools (training provided) Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 6 months' experience working under a microscope in an assembly or similar environment Experience with medical, mechanical, or small‑parts assembly Strong hand‑eye coordination and fine motor dexterity Ability to perform detailed, repetitive tasks with high accuracy Comfort working in a cleanroom and regulated environment Ability to inspect and verify quality independently and consistently Willingness to follow detailed procedures and accurately document work Ability and interest in learning new equipment and prototype‑level processes Preferred Qualifications Medical device or prototype assembly experience Experience working in highly regulated manufacturing environments Computer‑based experience to support documentation and equipment interaction Interest in developing skills with advanced tools such as laser welding Flexibility to rotate between different innovation projects and production cells Why Work Here This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an Innovations Department , contributing directly to prototype builds and emerging product development.   • 3:30 p.m. Work performed at cleanroom workstations, frequently under a microscope Rotation across innovation cells with varied prototype builds and equipment Strong emphasis on precision, quality, flexibility, and teamwork Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Longmont, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00
  • $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
