Job Description

Job Description At RTX, we are passionate about technology and innovation. We are looking for a dedicated PW800 Assembly Technician to join our team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This position is for the 2nd shift and is onsite. The PW800 engine is a state-of-the-art engine that powers some of the most advanced business jets in the world. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of these engines, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Your Responsibilities:
Assemble and test PW800 engines according to engineering specifications and quality standards. Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments to perform assembly tasks. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Document assembly processes and results accurately. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve any issues that arise during assembly. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Profile:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred. Experience in mechanical assembly or a related field. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
