We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical / Power Equipment Technician to join an established company specializing in power equipment and engine-driven systems . This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive technician, mechanic, fleet technician, equipment technician, or mechanically talented individual who wants to take their skills into a specialized technical environment. Power-generation experience is not required. If you understand engines, electrical systems, mechanical components, tools, and troubleshooting, your experience may transfer very well to this position. What You'll Be Working With This position involves hands-on work with engine-driven power equipment and related mechanical and electrical systems . You will use your mechanical knowledge to assemble, inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and work with equipment while following technical specifications and quality standards. The work is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys figuring out how mechanical and electrical systems work together . What You'll Do Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Work with engines, mechanical components, wiring, and electrical systems Assemble, inspect, service, and repair equipment and components Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and measuring tools Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, specifications, and technical documentation Identify problems and determine appropriate corrective action Perform detailed inspections and quality checks Maintain accurate and consistent workmanship Follow established safety and quality procedures Work independently while also contributing to a technical team Your Automotive Experience Can Transfer We are especially interested in candidates coming from: Automotive dealerships Independent automotive repair shops Fleet maintenance facilities Truck or diesel repair Equipment maintenance and repair Small-engine or power-equipment repair Industrial or mechanical maintenance Engine and electrical troubleshooting If you've spent years diagnosing cars, replacing components, tracing electrical problems, working on engines, using diagnostic tools, or repairing equipment , don't assume you need direct industry experience to qualify.
