Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and demonstrate a commitment to quality and efficiency. As a Production Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the assembly process, contributing to the production of our top-tier products. Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes work area setup.
- Perform assembly operations in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Utilize hand and power tools to assemble parts and sub-assemblies.
- Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band components finished product.
- Ensures work area is safe, clean, and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.
- Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintains production records as required.
- Inspect finished products for defects or irregularities and make necessary adjustments to be compliant with standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
- Participates in safety, CI, and other training programs and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in assembly or a related field preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
- Working knowledge of basic math
