EXCEPTIONS JOB DESCRIPTION

Work as part of a crew building trusses to order Measure, cut, drill and screw wood together to build trusses Experience building trusses, as a carpenter or working with wood is required Select the correct boards for the truss Measure and cut the components Assemble wooden parts of the truss Place nailer plates on the truss and nail them together based on the blueprints As a team, move the assembled truss down the line Mark each truss as per the building diagram Band trusses together and move them to the staging area Assist in loading assembled trusses on the truck and prepare them for shipment Will do some paperwork as needed Perform other duties as needed such as clean up and maintenance on the equipment Truss building, framing, form building, or general carpentry experience preferred Some outdoors-intensive labor is preferred Prefers some fork truck operation experience.

SCHEDULE & PAY
