Assembly Tech. (Entry Level) Manufacturing/Warehouse Clearwater , Florida Contract to Hire Sep 9, 2026 Harness Assembly Technician -
Clearwater, Florida Pay:
Entry level starts at $15/hour and we will train. Candidates with 2-3 years of related electromechanical, wiring, harness, or assembly experience may qualify for $17/hour. We are hiring Harness Assembly Technicians for hands-on wire harness assembly work. This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates who are dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, as well as experienced candidates with related assembly or wiring experience.
Job Duties:
  • Assemble, route, strip, crimp, connect, heat shrink, and pot wires.
  • Read and follow diagrams, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Use hand tools, gauges, soldering irons, heat guns, wire trimmers, and other assembly equipment.
  • Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • No experience required for entry-level candidates; training provided.
  • 2-3 years of electromechanical, harness, wiring, or assembly experience preferred for higher pay rate.
  • Strong attention to detail and good hand/eye coordination.
  • Comfortable working with small parts and hand tools.
  • Hands-on hobbies such as jewelry making, knitting, model building, engine tinkering, or similar detailed work are a plus.
  • Able to sit, stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs.
Temp-to-Hire:
16-week temp-to-hire opportunity with benefits eligibility within 60 days of hire; company pays 90%.
