Job Description
(This job is based at our facility in Placid Lakes, FL)

Key Responsibilities:
Apply and/or roll out fiberglass to proper thickness, removing all air from parts Apply gel coat to parts and molds Use gauges and other tools to ensure correct amount of material applied Properly demold parts and move to finishing area Keep work area clean and safe Understand safety and proper PPE useQualifications:
Pay is aligned with experience and proper production. "The more you make, the more you make." Experience with fiberglass lamination is a plus but not required. If you're a painter, auto body tech, laborer, or carpenter who wants a new challenge, this is a great option. Detail-oriented with an appreciation of and desire to build quality products Comfortable working in hot, dusty environments. Experience here is a plus. Experience with power tools a plus Must be capable to move or lift molds around the shop when required, stand for long periods of time. Able to adapt to heat and dust in this work environment. We are looking for a self starter with a high energy level along with keeping safety and quality in mind. If you don't know what to do, ask! Must be reliable and a team player. All of us here at C&M are excited to get to work with new associates to teach them the proper methods of the fiberglass industry. Work Environment Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature reaching over 100 degrees fahrenheit at times. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment. C&M Marine products builds some of the best products for the marine industry. Dock boxes, boat consoles, leaning posts, live wells and more. Our products are on shorelines from Aruba to Alaska. See more at www.cmmarine.com. Most shifts run from 7-3:30 with some overtime at time-and-a-half. Must have transportation to work and be able to pass a drug screen. Pay depends on experience. Entry-level (no experience) starts at $15/hr with $1 increases after each skill learned, typically monthly. $17/hr after 90 days $200 of $500 sign-on bonus paid after 30 days $300 remaining of $500 sign-on bonus paid after 60 days While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl- Be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions
- The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to, with or without correct close vision, ability to adjust focus, and be able to distinguish between different colors.
