Job Description
- Job Title: Assembler I
- Job Responsibilities
- + Constructs and tests fabricated or purchased components for mechanical and electrical machinery assembly.
+ Interprets blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and advanced assembly drawings accurately.
+ Installs parts like switches, coils, transformers, relays, and semiconductor circuits into chassis and panels.
+ Routes, attaches, or solders wires and connectors to build working circuits and power supply connections.
+ Examines assemblies for defects, runs performance tests using multimeters, and calibrates units to specific tolerances.
+ Completes and physically scans technical work orders accurately for every assigned job.
- Job Requirements & Qualifications
- + Requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate.
+ Needs at least six months of related manufacturing experience or specialized technical training.
+ Requires familiarity with diverse hand tools, power tools, tape measures, multimeters, and soldering irons.
+ Must be capable of obtaining certifications to operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and aerial lifts.
+ Requires the ability to calculate variables using basic algebra, geometry, proportions, and volume.
- Physical & Environmental Demands
- + Standing and balancing on the shop floor for 67% to 100% of the daily shift. + Frequently lifting, moving, and positioning equipment loads weighing up to 50 pounds. + Constant close proximity to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, tool vibrations, and electrical shock risks. + Requires strict daily use of steel-toe boots, protective safety glasses, and targeted hand/hearing protection.
- Work Environment
- This position is based on a shop floor environment where you will stand and balance for approximately 67% to 100% of each daily shift.
The role requires frequent lifting, moving, and positioning of equipment loads weighing up to 50 pounds. You will work in constant close proximity to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, tool vibrations, and electrical shock risks, making adherence to safety procedures essential. Daily use of steel-toe boots, protective safety glasses, and targeted hand and hearing protection is required to maintain a safe working environment.

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $16.
00 - $24.86/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
