Assembler Job Description We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will work across various departments, including Loader, Deicer, and Traitor, to assemble plane de-icers, aircraft tow vehicles, cargo loading systems, airport gate equipment, and military equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and assemble mechanical and electrical equipment, utilizing hand and power tools provided by the company. Responsibilities Work in one or more departments: Loader, Deicer, and Traitor. Assemble plane de-icers, aircraft tow vehicles, cargo loading systems, airport gate equipment, and military equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, and assemble mechanical and electrical equipment. Utilize hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, files, grinders, etc., to make mechanical connections using nuts, bolts, washers, and screws. Make electrical connections using pre-fabricated harnesses, cutters, wire strippers, and crimping tools. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Self-audit and inspect assembled work using drawings and checklists. Essential Skills 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Proficiency in utilizing hand and power tools. Electrical experience (not IPC/small soldering). Additional Skills & Qualifications Hydraulic experience is a plus. Mechanical aptitude. Experience in fabrication, construction, installation, and repair. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
