Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Countertop Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality, finished countertops that meet precise specifications. Your expertise in fabrication, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to safety standards will ensure the production of durable, aesthetically appealing surfaces for residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately cut and shape materials. Operate various fabrication equipment including saws, routers, grinders, and polishing machines with precision. Measure materials using tape measures and other tools to ensure dimensional accuracy according to project requirements. Handle heavy materials safely using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Perform stone finishing and polishing to achieve smooth surfaces that meet quality standards. Follow safety protocols by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection at all times. Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling materials, tools, and waste in accordance with safety regulations. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication and assembly tasks. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience with fabrication processes including machining, millwork, and assembly of countertops. Strong understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments; adherence to safety regulations is mandatory. Ability to perform accurate dimensional measurements and follow blueprint specifications meticulously. Basic math skills for calculating measurements, material quantities, and tolerances.
