Job Description

IDEC Elevator Products is looking for a motivated Wood Shop Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Riviera Beach, FL . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or manufacturing who is eager to build a long-term career in elevator manufacturing. What You'll Do As a Wood Shop Assembler, you'll help manufacture high-quality elevator components while working with a variety of woodworking equipment and production tools.
Responsibilities include:
Assemble wood components for elevator products according to specifications and drawings. Operate woodworking machinery including table saws, routers, CNC routers, and hand and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions. Perform accurate measuring, cutting, drilling, fitting, and assembly of materials. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately. Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a wood shop, cabinetry, or elevator manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical aptitude and assembly experience. Experience operating woodworking equipment such as: Table saws Routers CNC routers Hand and power tools Ability to read measurements and use common shop tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Dependable work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements This position requires employees to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift materials. Use hands for fine motor tasks and operate hand and power tools. Lift up to 100 pounds using proper lifting techniques. Have sufficient vision, hearing, depth perception, and color recognition to safely perform job duties. Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing facility where employees can expect: Hot and humid conditions during summer months. Cooler temperatures during winter months.
