Job Description

Position Summary Blue Wind Technology is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Demold Technician to join our Production team. This position is responsible for safely removing finished composite parts from molds while following established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, able to perform physical work, and committed to maintaining safety and quality throughout the production process. Essential Responsibilities Safely remove fiberglass/composite parts from molds using approved tools and procedures. Follow established demolding procedures and work instructions. Use hand tools and other production equipment safely and correctly. Handle molds and finished parts carefully to prevent damage. Follow all required safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Report damaged tools, equipment, molds, parts, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Work closely with Production, Quality, and other team members as needed. Assist with moving, positioning, and handling parts during the production process. Follow company policies, quality requirements, and production standards. Perform other production-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, production, fiberglass, composites, or similar experience is preferred but not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to safely use basic hand tools. Strong attention to safety and quality. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to learn Blue Wind's production processes and procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment. Ability to wear required PPE while working in production. Ability to safely lift and handle materials within the requirements established for the position. Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing environment involving composite materials and production equipment. Employees are required to follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.
