Description:

Assembly Technician Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our production team. This role involves assembling small mechanical and electronic components, working with precision tools, and performing quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and capable of working with small parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Top Must-Have Skills Experience with small parts assembly Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to use hand tools and small precision tools Ability to read and follow written work instructions Strong attention to detail and quality standards Mechanical aptitude Ability to work under a microscope or magnifying equipment Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment Commitment to workplace safety Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous manufacturing or assembly experience Experience working with microscopes preferred Experience assembling electronic, mechanical, or medical device components preferred Ability to identify, disassemble, and reassemble small components Strong organizational skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Responsibilities Assemble products and subassemblies according to specifications and work instructions. Use hand tools and precision equipment to complete assembly tasks. Inspect assembled components for quality and accuracy. Work with small parts and delicate components under magnification when required. Maintain production standards and meet daily output goals. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality requirements. Keep workstations clean, organized, and audit-ready. Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates regarding production issues. Assist with troubleshooting minor assembly issues as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of assembly, manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures. Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
