The 2nd Shift Assembler I is responsible for assembly, testing, and packaging of industrial precision dispensing equipment. Duties will involve a variety of tasks but are not limited to those listed below. Must be ok with being in a contract role and training on 1st shift before moving to 2nd Shift. Training Schedule•Monday through Friday 6am to 2:30pm 2nd Shift Schedule•Monday through Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Assembles, tests, and packages industrial precision dispensing equipment in accordance with quality, productivity, and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment. Follows applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures. Use hand tools, general power tools, and calibrated power tools to facilitate equipment assembly. Use reference drawings and bills of material to ensure proper assembly of equipment. Report product failures to manufacturing engineer or supervisor. Use computers (SAP) to view reference drawings, generate production related documents, for other general tasks. Must be flexible and able to rotate to different work areas to respond appropriately to changing customer requirements Education and Experience Requirements Minimum 6 months of work experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment in an assembly position. High School Diploma or GED. 1 year of wiring experience preferred.
