WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
Like to work with your hands Passion for craftsmanship Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Strong technical and creative skills. Ability to hand‑cut materials using a cutting blade and rulerBasic math skills and ability to use a computer Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work over waist high table Stand and walk 95% of the time in a production warehouse environment Experience in assembly, packaging, or warehouse work desirable.
Prefer 1+ years of experience in operating associated equipment for commercial sign company or printer and/ or installation.
WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
Operate production equipment (printers, laminator, plotter/cutter, router) Prep, RIP and transfer of files for production equipment. Finishing of products Installation of graphics The Primary Focus Of The Position Maintain a high level of product quality and craftsmanship Combine print application with assembly work
Fabrication & Finishing:
Operate shop tools and equipment such as saws, brakes, shears, welders, routers, and drills. Accurately measure, cut, bend, bind, weld, drill, trim, punch, and coil materials including aluminum, acrylic, plastics, and vinyl. Construct physical trade show booths and structures Quality control, packing, shipping and installation: Ensure the completion of jobs meet quality and quantity requirements. Assemble final product for shipping and delivery or install; create custom packaging when necessary Prep and apply vinyl; i.e., setup, weeding, cutting, taping, trimming and mounting to substrates, laminate, and grommet.
Hands-on installation:
measure, layout, apply vinyl graphics, and use hand and power tools.
