Job Description
Job Summary The Disassembly Technician will contribute to Company's daily operations by keeping our engines clean and performing better than ever! The Disassembly Technician is responsible for the disassembly and cleaning of engines. Disassembly Technician will liaise with managers and department employees. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable with engine parts and hand power tools with some mechanical experience and knowledge.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Disassembly Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:- Disassembly of Diesel engines
- Cleaning of engine components
- Maintains a clean and organized work/storage area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs.QUALIFICATIONS

Required Preferred Description x HS Education or equivalent x General knowledge of engine parts x Knowledge of hand and power tools x Knowledge of lifting equipment and/or devices x Ability to operate powered pass-through wash system x Knowledge of wash and blast cabinets a plusLANGUAGE ABILITY
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10's and 100's. Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.REASONING ABILITY
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.WORK ENVIRONMENT

Subject to noise, dust, diesel fuel, oil, and extreme hot/cold temperatures. No A/C.
