Commercial Signs | Smyrna, GA | Full-Time, On-site Commercial Signs is looking for an experienced Sign Fabricator who can step into our shop and contribute immediately. This is not an entry-level fabrication position. We're looking for an experienced sign professional who knows how to build commercial sign cabinets and custom fabricated signs from shop drawings with minimal direction. What You'll Build Illuminated and non-illuminated sign cabinets Monument and pylon sign components Wall-mounted cabinets Multi-tenant and directional signs Custom aluminum and architectural signage Frames, retainers, supports and other fabricated components What We're Looking For 5+ years of sign fabrication experience required Strong experience with cabinet and custom sign fabrication Aluminum fabrication and MIG welding experience Ability to read and build from sign shop drawings Experience with brakes, shears, saws, grinders and standard fabrication equipment Knowledge of common sign construction methods, materials and hardware Familiarity with illuminated signs, LEDs and electrical components Understanding of how signs are mounted, installed and serviced Strong attention to fit, finish and overall craftsmanship What Success Looks Like We're looking for someone who can be handed a set of approved drawings and knows how to build the sign. You should be comfortable making fabrication decisions, identifying potential problems and working through the details without requiring step-by-step instruction. Just as importantly, you should care about craftsmanship. The finished product should be square, clean, structurally sound, serviceable and ready for our installation team when it leaves your area.
