Job Title:
Heavy Assembler Job Description As a Heavy Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly of fly wheels, hubs, cast irons, and other components using hand and power tools, and following detailed prints. Responsibilities Assemble various components such as fly wheels, hubs, and cast irons. Utilize hand and power tools effectively to ensure precise assembly. Interpret and follow blueprints and technical drawings for accurate assembly. Operate and maintain CNC machines and equipment. Ensure quality control by using calipers and micrometers. Essential Skills Experience operating CNC machines. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Ability to use calipers and micrometers accurately. Knowledge of operating mills and lathes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with Doosan and Okuma machines. Understanding of machine maintenance and operation. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a climate-controlled environment with shifts available from Monday through Thursday, including 1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, 2nd shift from 2:15pm to 10:45pm, and 3rd shift from Sunday through Thursday, 10:30pm to 6:15am. Enjoy shift premiums of $1 for the 2nd shift and $2 for the 3rd shift. Benefit from a $150 shoe reimbursement and receive supplied shirts and hoodies. The facility includes a 'mini gas station' vending service and offers free coffee for employees. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brown Deer, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
