Assembler

Material Handler We are hiring Material Handlers to help build high-quality windows and doors from start to finish. This role is well suited for candidates with construction, carpentry, production, or hands-on assembly experience who enjoy working with tools and take pride in producing quality work. Job Responsibilities Assemble windows and doors through multiple stages of the production process Use hand and power tools such as drills, screw guns, nail and staple guns, chop saws, routers, and sanders Read and follow production lists, work instructions, and standard operating procedures Identify and select the correct materials and components for each build Inspect work at each stage of assembly to ensure quality standards are met Communicate material shortages, defects, or quality concerns to team members or leadership Lift and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Required Qualifications Experience in assembly, production, construction, or general labor Ability to read a tape measure accurately Comfortable using both hand and power tools Basic reading and math skills Ability to lift 50 pounds or more High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications Ability to read blueprints or detailed work instructions Mechanical assembly experience Carpentry or framing experience Work Environment Manufacturing facility producing premium windows and doors Warm environment that is not air-conditioned Flexible dress code Steel-toe shoes required Shorts and T-shirts permitted with appropriate attire Long hair must be tied back Multiple tool-based workstations Why Join Our Team Established company with a strong reputation and long history Competitive benefits package Profit sharing and 401(k) match Competitive paid time off Career growth and development opportunities Overtime opportunities available Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dubuque, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.20 - $22.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
