2nd Shift Assemblers $20/hr Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm Occasional Saturday overtime Aventure Staffing is seeking Assemblers for an electrical supply company in Estherville, IA that has been in business for 50 years. You will be responsible for assembling power cables. You must have the ability to work well independently and with a team of production assemblers.

Responsibilies:

Perform direct labor duties assigned by the Power Cable Lead/Supervisor, including the assembly of power cables, junction boxes, and other required component parts following established specifications. Use automatic equipment and hand tools effectively and safely during assembly. Use proper torque settings for each type of receptacle assembled during the production process using the reference guide and by asking the supervisor or lead for guidance. Assemble all products according to established guidelines Meet established production and labor requirements. Abide by company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards. Assist other departments as required or directed Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Ability to read workshop documents, build specification sheets, and understand the requirements for assembling each cable Ability to identify basic primary colors independently. Ability to perform basic mathematics and measuring (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division; use a ruler to measure lengths & widths accurately.) Must be able to use automatic equipment and hand tools effectively and safely during the assembly process. This includes the ability to establish proper torque settings Must be able to work effectively independently and within a group or team setting on a daily basis. Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 1-75 lbs. Must have dexterity and strength in both hands Must be able to stand consistently for 6-8 hours Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
