Assembly Production Technician builds high‑quality machinery by assembling parts and subassemblies, ensuring each unit meets performance, safety, and quality standards. Duties & Responsibilities Gather required components, tools, and materials Position and align parts using templates, measurements, and assembly fixtures Assemble components and subassemblies, ensuring proper fit and secure fastening Inspect completed assemblies to verify they meet specifications Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues, escalating when necessary Perform basic preventive maintenance and report equipment malfunctions Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Complete production and quality documentation accurately Support team goals by assisting with related tasks as needed Core Competencies Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Effective problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and blueprints High attention to detail and commitment to quality Self‑motivated with sound judgment and practical decision‑making Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more Strong focus on safety and efficient use of resources Qualifications & Education requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in automotive mechanics preferred Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly documentation Working knowledge of controls, instrumentation, power tools, and mechanical inspection tools Background in manufacturing, equipment maintenance, or related technical fields Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during production tasks An Equal Opportunity Employer Pre-Employment Drug Testing Required.
