Position SummaryThe Assembler-Finish is responsible for assembling components and systems used in the production of ambulances and specialty vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble parts, subassemblies, and finished components per work instructionsInstall mechanical, electrical, and interior componentsUse hand tools, power tools, and measuring devicesRead and follow blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructionsInspect work for quality and accuracy; correct defects as neededMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow safety, quality, and production standardsWork collaboratively with team members, leads, and quality personnelRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredManufacturing or assembly experience preferredAbility to read work instructions and basic drawingsFamiliarity with hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and manual dexterityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred ExperienceAmbulance, automotive, RV, or specialty vehicle manufacturingMechanical, electrical, or interior assembly experienceExperience in a lean or production-based environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsProlonged standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbingAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentUse of required personal protective equipment (PPE)Contingencies of EmploymentSuccessful completion of a background check, pre-employment drug screen and physical examination Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, if applicable to the positionEqual Opportunity EmployerLife Line is an equal opportunity employer.
