Powersports Technician $28-$38+ Per Flat-Rate Hour | Manufacturer Certification Pay Action Cycles N Sleds is looking for a Powersports Technician to join our service department. We're looking for someone who knows their way around a shop, takes pride in fixing things correctly, and wants to be part of a team that is constantly working to get better. Ideally, we'd like to find an experienced technician who can come in and hit the ground running. That said, we're also willing to take a chance on the right go-getter — somebody mechanically capable, willing to learn, and motivated to turn this into a career. We aren't a huge corporate dealership where you're just another number. We're a busy powersports dealership with a growing service department, a brand-new facility, and a team that works closely together to get machines fixed and back to our customers. Pay This is a flat-rate position , typically starting at: $28.00 per flat-rate hour

Plus:

+$2.00 per flat-rate hour for each manufacturer certification That means an experienced, certified technician can quickly move into the $30s per flat-rate hour , with strong earning potential based on efficiency, certifications, and production. We believe better technicians should have the opportunity to earn more. What You'll Work On We are an authorized dealer for: Polaris Can-Am Sea-Doo Ski-Doo Kawasaki Beta Our technicians work on ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, and other powersports equipment. We occasionally work on machines outside of our primary brands on a case-by-case basis. What We're Looking For We want someone who: Has previous powersports, motorcycle, automotive, diesel, or related mechanical experience Can diagnose problems instead of simply replacing parts Works efficiently without sacrificing quality Takes pride in doing the job right the first time Shows up on time and ready to work Communicates well with service writers and the rest of the shop Is willing to continue learning and improving Can work independently while still being part of a team Has a valid driver's license Has a good attitude and contributes positively to the shop Experience is strongly preferred, but attitude and work ethic matter to us. If you're mechanically talented, hungry to learn, and willing to put in the work, we're willing to talk. Training & Certifications We provide access to manufacturer training modules and encourage our technicians to continue earning certifications. Every manufacturer certification increases your flat-rate pay by $2.00 per hour . The more valuable you become to the shop, the more valuable the position becomes to you. Tools Technicians are expected to provide their own standard hand tools and toolbox. Action Cycles N Sleds provides specialty tools and manufacturer-specific equipment.
