Job Title:
Production Assembler - Cables Job Description Join our cable and harness assembly team as a Production Assembler. We are seeking individuals who are committed to long-term growth in the Interconnect department. This role involves assembling cable and harness components with precision and accuracy. Responsibilities Function as a participating team member. Perform hand soldering of wires to electrical connectors and PCBs. Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required. Review and complete required production documentation. Update job status in ABAS Systems as necessary. Maintain a safe and orderly work area. Perform related duties as required. Essential Skills Accurate visual acuity for color and depth perception. Vision sufficient to accurately measure in fractions of an inch. Manual dexterity to handle small hand tools including soldering irons. Ability to read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions. Strong comprehension of written and verbal assignments. Ability to work as a team member in a diverse work environment. Advanced soldering and repair/rework skills. Proficiency in using solder extractor tools. Basic computer skills with accurate data entry. Good math skills with the ability to count and measure. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in hand soldering of various types, including solder cups, J-Hook, and through hole. Proficiency in most on-the-job training (OJT) processes in at least two production areas. Successful completion of OJT crimp training. Successful completion of ESD and solder training, if/as required. High School Diploma or GED. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean electronics manufacturing facility with individual workstations. Employees are required to wear smocks and shoe straps on the production floor. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The environment is moderately noisy, and employees may need to perform various physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Meridian, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
