Job summary - Safeguard Equipment is producing an industry leading personal voltage detection device to enable people to be more aware of electrical dangers around them. The production of this product includes loading software onto circuit boards, preparing a variety of components, assembling the components, and maintaining precise records for quality assurance. We are seeking a team member for 30-40 hours a week to help us keep up with the growing demand for our product in assembly. Employees will be able to enjoy working with a close-knit group of peers who work together to accomplish group goals.

Job responsibilities:

Prepare and assemble product by following appropriate procedures. Maintain inventory management including recieving, stocking, packing, and counting. Maintain accurate records of work performed using prescribed forms. Follow department procedures on equipment setup and maintenance. Ensure safety guidelines are following while working with equipment and tools. Provide feedback and insight into opportunities to increase quality and efficiency. Commit to high quality standard.

Job qualifications:

Applicant must have reliable transportation. Applicant must be able work while sitting or standing for extended amounts of time. Applicant must be able to read, write, follow instructions and maintain product tracking systems. Applicant must have good verbal communication skills. Applicant must be able to work well with their hands to manipulate small and fragile parts for extended amounts of time. Applicant must be highly detailed. Applicant must be able to lift, carry, manipulate, and use objects up to 30 pounds commonly and 50 pounds occasionally. Applicant must be able to distinguish between different colored labels. 2 years of experience in production of small technical products is highly desired. Experience with soldering is highly desired. High school graduate or equivalent is highly desired. Must be able to pass general background check and random drug tests. Willing to provide references for previous employment.
