Manufacturing Worker

Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team at our Addison, IL location, near Swift Road and Army Trail Road. Shape LLC is a custom electrical transformer manufacturer. Started in 1966, we have a long history of meeting customers' needs. This is a first shift, regular full-time role, with hours from 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday. Overtime will be offered as needed to meet customer needs. Duties include winding coils, insulating and finishing coils for assembly, building the transformer core, basic electrical connection wiring and other types of product assembly work. Whether you are experienced or new to manufacturing, this position provides a rewarding environment to develop your skills and grow as part of our team! Skills and Experience Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required Must be able to read, write and speak basic English to handle paperwork and labels Ability to lift 15-60 pounds (depending on work area) on a regular basis Must be able to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) Read and use a ruler, micrometer and other basic tools Strong attention to detail and product quality Ability to work safely and follow safety guidelines Flexibility and willingness to adapt to new job functions based on business needs Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning and problem solving High school diploma or GED preferred Apply in person Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 2:00pm Shape
